My 6th grade classroom Cals Charter Middle School were wondering which is a better to use: plastic pockets and markers or paper and pencil.There are many possible answers but, there is only ONE true answer. We did a study and discovered that paper and pencil is a better choice and enviromentally.

I analyzed my data and concluded that my school, Cals Charter Middle School has done an expirement and observed that paper and pencilis a friendly choice for everyone. Do you know what markers and pencils do and don't have? Pecils doesn't have any chemicles, but markers do. Markers have a toxic chemicals, which is known as one of the most dangerous chemiclas known to man! Even for some people,it could cause them to have allergies.

There are also other ways why paper and pencils is a better choice, for example paper comes from trees. Some people think that when when we are also wasting paper, wee are alos wasting trees. That is incorrrect. I analyzed that trees is a renewable resource (it means to be reused).

Using paper and pencil is a better choice than plastic pockets and markers. If you burn plastic, you can release a big quantity of toxic fumes(http://plasticindustry.com ). My prediction is that it can also cause global warming to happen. Also if you use paper and pencil, it cost way less compared of what you expected. This is why you should use paper and pencil instead.
